I kind of feel like even if she could sing beautifully, she wouldn't have in THG. Like in the moment, it was pretty raw and messed up, not necessarily something you'd songbird over, you know?
Exactly...when you're holding the dead body of your friend and bawling, you don't really focus on the quality of your voice, lol...or break out into a musical number.
Yeah. Her voice was supposed to be breaking and cracking with emotion. It was an emotionally-charged scene. This is a love song. I think it's her voice that's been touched up slightly.
I know where this trailer is going - sweet song, pretty girl, mysterious boy, murder murder murder playing underneath the pretty song. Can't watch - it will freak me out too much. Especially since I think my house is haunted.

ban all the other actor/singers. ban them.
But you're right about the trailer. I've already watched the movie but the noises they play when people get murdered still freak me out.
