Justin Bieber tops 'Billboard' hot '21 Under 21' list
For the second year running, Justin Bieber tops Billboard's "21 under 21" list of hot young music entertainers, announced today. The ranking is based on record sales, social followings and Billboard editors' expectations of how much buzz the artists will generate over the next year.
Breakout boy band One Direction, up 17 slots, is second, followed by pop star and The X Factor judge Demi Lovato, 10th American Idol champ Scott McCreery and rapper Matt Miller.
Singer Selena Gomez, Bieber's gal pal, fell three notches to No. 6. DJ Porter Robinson is seventh, trailed by a pair of first-timers, British singer Cher Lloyd and Odd Future rapper Earl Sweatshirt. Nick Jonas falls two spots to No. 10.
Completing the 21:
11. Jackie Evancho
12. Cody Simpson
13. Mindless Behavior
14. Megan & Liz
16. Bridget Mendler
18. Miley Cyrus
20. Ross Lynch (Austin & Alley)
21. Victoria Justice
Justin Bieber is very happy that Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Kiss' Album is Finally Out (Photo)
It’s no surprise that Justin Bieber’s got a serious hankering for Carly Rae Jepsen’s Kiss (see how I did that there?), but now he’s making exactly five different faces to prove it! Carly Rae’s new album Kiss dropped today, and of course Justin and his good pal/potential Selena Gomez flirter Alfredo Flores tweeted in support of Carly’s release: ”Our emotions while listening to @carlyraejepsen’s album #KISS GO SUPPORT KISS!”
As you well know by now, Carly’s Kiss is stacked with hits for days including, but not limited to, her game-changer of a tune ”Call Me Maybe,” her sugary pop collabo with Owl City ”Good Time,” and of course, a “Beautiful” ballad with her biggest supporter/bossman Justin Bieber. And it’s true, we probably didn’t need Justin and Alfredo’s ridic facial expressions to tell us that Kiss will be a smash, but we’re definitely thankful that her debut album inspired the Biebs to make face number four. And five too, for that matter!
