Carly Rae Jepsen dons a few red streaks in her dark hair in this new shot from the October 2012 issue of Glamour.
The mag sat down with the 26-year-old (lol wut?) musician and found out about her style, body issues and her “Call Me Maybe” (now ex-) boyfriend. Check it:
On how her former boyfriend inspired “Call Me Maybe” and came into her life: “I was nominated for songwriter of the year in Canada, at the Juno Awards, and I went with my father so he could help me walk down the red carpet in my four-and-a-half-inch heels. At the last second he got stage fright. So my producer offered up his friend Jordi Ashworth to be my arm support while I walked in these crazy shoes. We’ve been together ever since.”
On body image in the spotlight: “My mom taught me how to treat my body with respect, to be grateful I have two arms and two legs. Your health is the most important thing.”
On her style: “Pop meets folk. I love combining hippie vintage stuff with chic things. And I can’t live without MAC lipstick, especially Lady Danger—it’s the perfect red. It dresses you up in two seconds flat.”
Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed she didn't start dating until she was 17 and had no interest in boys when she was at school.
Carly Rae Jepsen didn't start properly dating until she was 17.
The 'Call Me Maybe' singer was in no rush to find love when she was at school and was happy to focus on her friends rather than boys in her early teens.
She said: "At 14, I was all about my friends ... I had crushes, but I wasn't ready for anything more."
Carly, now 26, is glad she waited and has urged her young fans not to rush into relationships and instead move at a pace they feel comfortable with.
The Canadian pop beauty has learnt a lot about love since taking her first tentative steps into the dating world and she admits she falls in love very easily.
However, she is a demanding girlfriend and she doesn't tend to give boys a second chance if they let her down.
She revealed: "I fall in love easily, but it takes a lot to stay in love ... It's one strike and you're out for me."

How old are you?
i can feel if i like someone or not in any non-dating atmosphere
I usually just like guys I already know a little bit and then try and get to know them more. I'm more comfortable, I already like something about them, and it's not as hard.
This coming from a single girl though hahahaha
