Having had a cat and been near a lake, they are NOT CRAZY about being on docks or over water or on boats. Sure, if the cat walks on it by itself out of curiosity then it will be fine. But I do not think that carrying a small kitten onto a boat dock surrounded by people wanting to take pictures and a crew filming a show is a good idea.
I have a feeling this cat would be more up for a boating excursion.
