I love GD's style and how vivid and colorful his music videos are but his music is so tryhard and embarrassing nowadays. I miss when Big Bang didn't take themselves so seriously.

The thing about GD is that you can really tell what music he's listening to for his comeback. I.E. this song is basically "I want to be Kanye West" the music video, where One of A Kind was him trying to be part of Young Money.

It's a bit frustrating, and I think that Taeyang takes himself way more seriously than GD ever will, but I get your point.

now that you've pointed it out i totally see it. i think GD gets carried away with getting inspiration sometimes (he has proclaimed his love for black people and hip hop many times). and lol how could i forget about young bae.
