I never understand why the second segment interviewee doesn't get to be a part of the panel the full show if they can afford to stick around. I'd prefer that to bringing someone out midshow completely disrupting the flow of the discussion for a minute.
because they're not always as politically literate as the other panelists, plus they're sometimes hawking books/albums/whatever so a specific allotted time for that makes sense in those cases. who knows 4 real tho.
agreed. I don't remember it always being like that, but it's really obnoxious. I used to love the panel discussions (I skip the monologue/new rules), but now it feels so rushed through.
I agree, but I think Maher has been sick of them tbh when on the panel. I think in the last episode or the one before he mentioned how he can't have a logical/rationale discussion with them over them denying facts and living in a "bubble"
Ha! I think he was just a bit giddy. He had a weird reaction the first time Bill swore, and then was all giggly when he realised they were on HBO. It's probably down to Real Time having a different vibe to the shows he's usually on.
I wish they were able to get more conservatives on the show. That always makes it so much more entertaining.
& ugh, I have such a thing for Chris Hayes.
anyway he is adorbs
