Chris Brown's Album 'Fortune' Given Domestic Abuse Warning

Copies of Chris Brown's current album Fortune have been marked by stickers warning against purchasing the album as he 'beats women'.

The stickers have appeared in HMV stores in London, and are thought to be the work of anti-domestic violence campaigners. The stickers read: 'Warning - Do not buy this album! This man beats women.'

Chris Brown has successfully overcome the domestic violence stigma after beating Rihanna into a bloody pulp in 2009 as the pair were en route to the Grammy Awards. He has recently been attempting to make up for his actions by visiting victims of domestic violence.

Speaking of his recent work with a US charity, the 'Turn Up The Music' star said: "It's in my heart to show my fans, my friends and family and the families at Jenesse who stood by me they were right to give me another chance. I'm working hard to make them proud."

whatever for all the shit chris brown gets he's is still booking shows, winning grammys, winning vmas, performing, making hits. alot of people i know look at him like this, young talented dancer with a hitting problem, the same way they would if he was some white misled young adult.

people gave mel gibson so so so so much shit, some people on here really have selective memory, please.
besides his industry friends, publicly mel gibson is looked at as gross as fuck.

& from what i'm told from family members & shit is that RDJ was publicly treated almost identical to lindsay lohan, nobody was fucking with him, he was lampooned constantly. but he actually showed his progress & kept up with it.

chris brown is probably taunted more because hes black but some of yall are really reaching for the stars tho
alot of us don't need the pictures of sean penn fucking madonna up, but the masses, the people who let others think for them, do.
thats why we dont hear about sean penn, because tbh there is no proof he is a woman beater, everything is speculated, everything is a blind item, it doesn't matter to us, but to the public it does tho

People thought RDJ was completely done with his career at the time. He's made such a turn around in his image, it's amazing.

No one says that you need to have pictures of Sean Penn fucking Madonna up, but it needs to be brought up somehow. If you can mention Chris Brown's abuse in every article about him, then you can mention Mark Walhberg being a terrible racist in every article, you can mention Sean Penn being an abuser, you can mention Charlie Sheen etc. etc. Picking and choosing which abusers to condemn is doing all women a disservice.

like you don't even really know if sean penn did that. you don't know, i don't know, no one besides sean penn & madonna knows. idk if mark wahlberg is racist, there's a million blind items but it is all speculative. mark wahlberg using derogatory words toward different ethnicities (which is again, is speculative) is ignorant, prejudiced, entitled & needs to be addressed, but thats not racist. show me a video of mark wahlberg shunning someone of a different race, or intentionally ignoring someone of a different race & then we can enter the discussion of if he is racist or not.

no one has to say we need pics of a victim to blame an abuser but you cant petition & defame celebrities & their projects based on a blind item. we have pics of chris brown & the damage he's caused, for the people who don't know or don't care to know, thats all they need

Mark was actually arrested and convicted for assaulting a vietnamese man and has himself talked about it in interviews. If that doesn't make him actively racist then I have no idea. Sean Penn was also arrested for abuse so it's not like we're making this stuff up.

sean penn was arrested for battery & vandalism against a photographer, if you watched the video you'd know why. i'm not excusing sean penn, i'm sure he has an anger problem but if we're petitioning celebs, lets do it where we have shit to fall back on. & where did mark walhberg explicitly express his disdain for another race? this article is about woman abusers & being selective in how we support them. i dont think we can protest a sean penn movie based on his battery charge against a photographer like ugh
