They're not celebrities so they don't willingly give up their privacy. Royals are born into the spotlight, it isn't a choice. Neither is marrying into the royal family, most of the time it isn't a choice.

Eh, marrying into the royal family is *definitely* a choice these days. A choice most people would be willing to make btw.

Honestly, I don't see how royals deserve any more respect than actors. If anything they owe the public more, since the normal people actually have to pay them whether they are interested or not.

Still all people deserve respect and this is invasive.

Marrying into the royal family is not a choice, before Kate they would marry their cousins who were groomed to be Royals like Princess Diana was with Charles
