Marvel Studios Visual Development Supervisor Talks Designing THOR In THE AVENGERS
The conceptual art for all of Marvel Studios' feature films have been rather exceptional with the majority of it being produced and/or supervised by Ryan Miendering and Charlie Wen.
Artist Charlie Wen, who tag teams with Ryan Miendering to oversee the conceptual designs for Marvel Studios recently chatted with Marvel about designing Thor in The Avengers. You can check that out below along with a look at how Thor's costume has changed from Thor to the Avengers and Thor: The Dark World.
On how Thor's look had to change between his solo-movie which saw him surrounded by similarly dressed Asgardians to The Avengers where he's on The Helicarrier surrounded by the likes of Iron Man and Captain America.
Charlie Wen: In “Thor,” he was more warrior-like. It was more of a battle-ready costume. [“Marvel’s The Avengers” director] Joss [Whedon] wanted more super heroes on this one, and we went in that direction. You see the blues in Thor’s costume more in this film, which blend better together in that way. The effect is that [the heroes] do gel together better, color-wise.

Charlie Wen Talks In Detail About Loki's Costume In MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS
Before the release of the superhero ensemble on DVD and Blu-ray this Monday in the UK and on September 25th in the UK, visual development supervisor Charlie Wen talks in detail about how he and director Joss Whedon evolved Loki's costume for The Avengers.
Talking to Marvel.com to promote the upcoming home release of the $1.5 billion box office hit, visual development supervisor Charlie Wen has shared a few new details about how Tom Hiddleston's 'Loki' costume for The Avengers was designed and developed, addressing both the story and visual reasons for such alterations. Check out his comments (and some concept art) below and then sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
On How Loki's Costume Progressed From THOR To Marvel's The Avengers:
As far as character designs that were practical, he was my favorite one to redesign this time around. [Director] Joss [Whedon] wanted Loki to seem like he travelled to places we don’t know of--he’s changed since we last saw him in “Thor.” The metals on his costume are more worn and scratched, and he’s darker. Because of that, we were able to treat his metal more like actual armor and make it feel like it’s been used. This was the first time we were able to do this with Loki, so it makes him look more authentic since he looks worn and not so brand new. There’s more culture to it.

RUMOR: A Major Character Will Die In THOR: THE DARK WORLD
Bleeding Cool reckon that we will lose a main character in the currently shooting Thor sequel. They aren't certain who it will be, but they have a fair idea. So even though this is just a rumor for now, possible major spoiler ahead..
These sources were "pretty sure" that it would be the Allfather himself, Odin, who would kick the bucket. However, Bleeding Cool then go on to say that they are less sure now than they were at first. In other words, it could be anyone! This isn't surprising really, as the stakes are always raised in movie sequels, and main characters tend to be killed off to heighten the drama. If this is on the level, my money is on one of the Warriors Three.
fixed. hope it works mods
