With Sylvester Stallone's laughable take on the 2000 AD lawman still fresh in the memory, Karl Urban's Dredd strode purposefully into UK cinemas last week – and wouldn't you know it, he punted Stallone's Judge helmet-first into oblivion. I went to a screening of Dredd earlier this week and it was (shockingly, lbr) phenomenal. Also, Karl Urban was there for a Q&A and was looking quite phenomenal too (no shock there).
And it appears that I'm not alone in enjoying Dredd:
