Vanessa Hudgens Stalked by Wicker Man Star?

Nicolas Cage has denied a report that he "stalked" co-star Vanessa Hudgens.

A report from Star magazine alleged that Hudgens had become "unnerved" by Cage's attention towards her on the set of upcoming thriller The Frozen Ground.

The tabloid stated that Hudgens was aware of his so-called "reputation for freaking out younger co-stars", but had "no idea just how much he would make her squirm" until they began working together.

Cage allegedly "unnerved the starlet so much that she begged directors to banish him from the set".

A friend of Hudgens stated: "He constantly watched her and even showed up on days when he wasn't filming to see her.

"Vanessa finally asked the directors to intervene and keep him away because she couldn't concentrate on her performance".

However, a representative for Cage slammed the report, stating that there is absolutely no basis for the claims.

The rep described the story as "beyond ridiculous" and "absurd", reports Gossip Gop.

Hudgens's own spokesperson has also stated that there are "absolutely no truth" to the original report.

Nicolas Cage will return for the upcoming Kick-Ass 2 as Big Daddy, with Jim Carrey also joining the cast.
