I'm just making a ton of tea and tea breads and tiny sandwiches and pinning my hair up and wearing jewel tones. All of my friends are working during the premiere, so I'm just going to download it and we're watching it at tea time the next day, though.

I like it because there were some pressed Mary haters/Branson stans on tumblr who said they wanted Sybil to find out about what happened with Pamuk so that she could call Mary out oh her hypocrisy for her treatment of Tom or whatever.

Which a) doesn't make sense b) what happened with Pamuk has no relation to Sybil's relationship with Branson c) is totally out of character for Sybil d) Mary actually went to Sybil's edding so while I think she thinks her sister made a bad choice, she's obviously supporting Sybil in her decisions and e) the only time Mary was rude to Branson was when he was trying to elope with Sybil.

So I'm just like "suck it, haters! Mary isn't the evil bitch you want her to be!"

Though I'm not a Mary fan I enjoy her relationship with Sybil and I didn't doubt that she would (outwardly at the very least) make the effort to embrace them as a couple once it was clear that they were serious.

But season 1 bitch Mary was my favorite so, not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed there wasn't any noses in the air etc...

Every character/show/everything ever has crazy stans on Tumblr. I wouldn't base my opinion of any group of people on Tumblr stans.

Also, even if Mary didn't/doesn't approve, one thing she is really good at is being cordial. It would be crazy to expect her to behave like Robert.

lol. Yeah. I mean they were barely in series 1, but it was harmless enough. And then series 2 happened and I found them to be insufferable.

yeah, Branson turned into this pushy asshole about it. honestly I don't understand his stans sometimes. he was a huge tool in s2. ~abandon your family, you love me, your job is stupid only I matter, etc. etc.
