We don’t know too much about Teen Wolf’s Danny other than he has good taste in men — he found Stiles’s “Cousin Miguel” (aka, Derek) attractive, obviously. But we’re hoping that changes when the show returns for Season 3.

When Wetpaint Entertainment spoke to Keahu Kahuanui at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6, he told us his hopes for Danny in the upcoming year. Sadly, he didn’t mention running into “Miguel” again.


Wetpaint Entertainment: What do you hope to see in Season 3?

Keahu Kahuanui: More werewolves. More blood. More chopping up and fighting. Fighting scenes are great. I’m a guy. I like action scenes.

Would you like to be in a good fighting scene?

I wouldn’t mind. I took a little martial arts when I was growing up and so sure.

Have you gotten a good fighting scene yet?

In Teen Wolf, I have not. I’m still gunning for it.

Who do you think is the biggest threat in
Season 3?

The new alpha pack that’s coming which was
hinted at a little bit in the season finale.

What was your favorite moment in Season 2?

I was a real fan of the fight scene from the ice
rink and having the werewolves sliding their claws against the ice – awesome awesome!

What do you think Jackson’s (Colton Haynes) blue eyes mean?

I don’t know.

If you had to guess and come up with some fancy theory?

That’s he’s maybe a part of his own pack? He
can’t be assimilated into his current pack?

Are there any theories in what the vet is up to?

I think he knows what is coming with the new
pack. I think he has more of a neutral obligation to stay neutral. He can’t get involved in pack’s affairs maybe so how to balance that especially with the new pack coming.

Is Gerald still alive?

Well they didn’t find his body and even if he did, Peter got buried under a house so he could always come back.

What can we expect from your character

We don’t really know. It’s not really clear and
I know that he didn’t die. He didn’t get transformed into anything so he’s probably still around. We’re just not sure what he’s up to.

What’s your favorite part about being
on the show?

Just having such a great cast and crew to work with. They are really awesome. They are great people to work with as far as long shoots, having fun on set, having chemistry that just works so you’re having a good time when you’re working. Our days are long and it’s great to have good people to work with.

So you’re hoping for a fight scene for
yourself?

I’m open to whatever. I trust the writers because they have steered us clear the last few seasons and whatever they want to do, I’m open.
