McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman injured on gymnastics tour.


News out of Ontario, Calif. on the second night of the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions is none too good for Olympic gold medalists McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman: both were reportedly injured while performing exhibition sets on uneven bars, which happens to be each gymnast's weakest event.

I think tours like this are so pointless. Same with preseason games. Why risk seriously hurting yourself for something that isn't really worth anything?

shit that sucks. i happen to be reading dominque muchano's (idk how to spell her name even after reading her book) and their post olympic tour went on for months and earned the girls a lot of money. it would suck if this years team didnt get the same opportunity

IDK, is the Kellogg's tour the equivalent of the Glee tours the cast would do between seasons? Obviously there's a small window of time after the Olympics when the public's interest is at an all time high, but it doesn't seem like the production values are very high, and shit like that concrete should not be happening.

Nice to see some of the '08 girls.

I know these girls do it for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ (and who could blame them; it's an assload), but I can never take these shows seriously. Half of me always wants to go but the other half knows I'd laugh too much.

And I want McKayla to rest her goddamn leg and NAIL THE TRIPLE. It's all I want for Christmas (or Worlds 2013).
