Chris Evans is reportedly being "cautious"
Various news outlets are now running stories on the rekindled romance of Chris Evans and Minka Kelly - this time with quotes from "insiders" ::eye roll::
The two stars first began dating in 2007, with Minka apparently ending things shortly before she stepped out with baseball star Derek Jeter.
Avengers Assemble star Chris and the actress have now decided to give things another go, but he is treading carefully.
“He's still a little insecure, so he's being cautious,” an insider told Us Weekly.
They have been spotted enjoying several dates recently, including a musical in New York City last month.
It was apparently Minka who started the ball rolling, after she realised Chris is her perfect partner.
“She did a number on him back [when they first dated],” another source claimed. “But she reached out to Chris this time.” (No kidding).
Minka and Derek first split last year, although they briefly rekindled their romance in March.
Soon after their initial break-up, it was claimed the 32-year-old actress hoped to seek solace with Chris, 31.
“She is the type of girl who likes having a boyfriend, and she thinks the second time around will be better with her and Chris,” an insider said at the time.
In addition to Jeter and Evans, Kelly -- who was named Esquire magazine's "Sexiest Woman Alive 2010" -- has also been linked to singer John Mayer, "Scrubs" star Donald Faison, her "Friday Night Lights" co-star Taylor Kitsch and, most recently, actor Wilmer Valderrama.
Pals of the actor are worried he might get hurt again. "He's still a little insecure, so he's being cautious," one friend of Chris says.

Wouldn't surprise me if she was trying to sell it herself.
