K. Michelle isn't scared of the defamation lawsuit filed by her ex Memphitz Wright -- telling TMZ, she stands behind her story 100% ... that the music producer beat her during their relationship.
K. Michelle tells us, "I¹ve always been told that the truth shall set you free. I stand behind my story 100%. I came on the 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' show mainly because I wanted to give a voice and bring light to a very serious issue."
"I am very grateful to VH1 and Monami Ent. for the opportunity to tell my story, and touch lives worldwide ... I look forward to having my day in court and finally having the truth of my story confirmed in a court of law."
She adds, "Hopefully others will not have to go through this and then have their stories challenged to this degree because people now want to try to salvage whatever reputation they may have had."
Memphitz has sued K. Michelle over comments she made on "L&HH" this season, when she referred to an unnamed record producer who "beat her ass" during their relationship.
Memphitz has denied he ever laid a hand on her and wants millions in damages.

I stand by K., of course, I just don't see why she should lie. She admitted that she isn't perfect, that she yells a lot, etc. and I'm sure that they were fighting, but none of that even comes close to excusing him hitting her. She's kept it pretty honest and real on the show, imo... so...
I got an order against my ex, 2 separate people saw him assault me in 2 separate incidents, had pictures, even have screenshots and the actual message of him admitting it to a friend via FB and blaming me saying "she just makes me that way". Even admitted it to our marriage counselor but if you ask him today if he did he swears he didn't.
