In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Thomas Beatie shares that he's fallen in love following his divorce from wife, Nancy, and hopes to expand his family.
Although Beatie, 38, is already a father of three, he hopes to conceive with girlfriend Amber Nicholas.
"Being pregnant is the most incredible experience," he tells the Sunday Mirror. "But we want Amber to do it this time around. I think it would be amazing to experience pregnancy as the father."
Beatie is eager to have another child with Nicholas. "It is even possible we could both be pregnant at the same time. Amber suggested we both try to get pregnant and whoever gets there first goes through with it," he says.
Beatie, a transgender male who preserved his female reproductive organs, first made headlines in 2007 after photos of his bearded face and pregnant belly were made public.
His wife Nancy, who had two children from a previous marriage, was unable to get pregnant following a hysterectomy. While married, the couple had three children together, and Beatie gave birth to all three. After nine years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce last April.

But whenever I babysit it's so boring, I cannot imagine being that mind numbingly bored all the time. And poor. And with a mother like me they'd be severely fucked up.
WTF? Whoever loses aborts the baby? I don't understand this line.
Basically, it means that they both try to get pregnant - whoever gets pregnant first carries the baby. The other ones stops trying to get pregnant. It's really not complicated.
