Miley Cyrus‘s new blonde pixie cut isn’t the only thing polarizing about the star’s look these days.
She recently posted a pic of herself wearing patterned leggings teamed with a super-sheer white T-shirt that exposed her black bra.
Though we dig Cyrus’s punk-rock look, the fact that she’s blatantly flaunting her lingerie is, well, not so classy.
In her defense, sheer tops were a huge trend this season, but perhaps a nude or pale pink bra would have been a less harsh pairing with her see-through tee.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Jennifer Lawrence gives just a peek at what she’s wearing underneath her navy tank with an orange lace Cosabella bra. The dark-over-light effect looks flirty without screaming “Hey, world! Look at my bra!”

I spend my days trying NOT to have my bra show, I ain't changing it up for the sake of fucking ~fashin

search grunge or hipster in the tags on tumblr and you'll see variations of miley's outfits... i swear tumblr must be her stylist

It's even worse because I think she probably knows that people make high-saturated edits of candids of her on Tumblr.

and i don't think i've ever said that about anybody
(I work in a fashion showroom, and they even do this for the middle-aged women's clothes.)
I miss the brief long fitted shirt trend. Those were much more flattering on me.
so my options are to wear cardigans, which i also love but they still show my chest, or wear sheer tops, which are suddenly easier to find!
i mean i don't LAHV the trend, but i don't hate it, and certainly not as much as the crop top trend of last year (i already have a long torso, so most normal length tops end up short on me in the first place).
