It's been six years, but as of this morning, Backstreet's back (alright). All five members of the Backstreet Boys performed on "Good Morning America," their first official concert since Kevin Richardson rejoined the band earlier this year.
The quintet sang a trio of hits -- "I Want It That Way," "Larger Than Life" and "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" -- as a crowd of mostly female 20 and 30-somethings cheered and waved signs with messages like "Welcome back Kevin!"
When Richardson, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough sat down to talk with "Good Morning America," Richardson told the host that he didn't leave in 2006 because there were problems with the band, but rather because he was no longer inspired to make music.
As for why he chose 2012 -- so close to the group's 20th anniversary -- to rejoin the band, the 40-year-old vocalist said, "I'm a person that always follows my heart and follows my gut and my heart said 'Now's the time.' It just felt right. I feel inspired to make music again with these guys." In the interview, Carter hinted that the Backstreet Boys could be working with Kevin Rudolf (of Lil Wayne-assisted "Let It Rock" fame) in the future, and
McLean announced plans for a BSB cruise in 2013. A.J. also revealed that he's a big Skrillex fan, while Littrell listens to Norah Jones.
The boy band moves were out in full force for
Backstreet's outdoor concert Friday (Aug. 31), and as they finished their final song, they yelled into the crowd, "See you next year on tour -- brand new record!"
The Backstreet Boys have been working on a follow- up to 2009's "This Is Us," which will include Richardson. The album is due in spring 2013, to help celebrate the veteran act's 20-year anniversary. The new set will be the group's eight studio album. The band worked this summer with producer Martin Terefe (Mary J. Blige, Javier Colon) in a London studio.

MAINLY NICK/BRAIN AND NICK/BRAIN/KEVIN.
but um brian and kevin are cousins D:
I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS EXISTS
The Popslash Secret Santa site. This still happens every year, and you can view by pairing so you won't accidentally end up in NSYNC land (though there is also awesome crossovers and stuff there).
Also, I APPROVE.gif of your Nick/Brian choice ;)
Plus, there is still stuff over here:

ETA: I think it's the sound not being balanced properly, tbh.
