The Saturdays 'debut new US single' at Nightclub'

The Saturdays have reportedly debuted their new single in America.

The girl group - consisting of Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Humes, Una Healy and Vanessa White - played their new track 'What About Us' while partying with fans at Hollywood's TigerHeat night at The Avalon.

"On our way for a dance at @TigerHeatLA... Are you ready for us?!" the group tweeted.

Shortly afterwards, a fan who claimed to have been at the nightclub added: "The Saturdays just premiered their new single called "what about us" at The Avalon in Hollywood... Amazing. #iwishiwasbritish."

The Saturdays are currently in Los Angeles filming a pilot episode for a potential new reality series for the E! television network.

The group previously described their new single as a "biggie", while band member Mollie King revealed that she had been taught a "Britney move" for the accompanying dance routine.

they shot the music video last week in Beverly Hills; it features Sean Paul; is said to sound like Rihanna's "Only Girl (In The World)"; and it will apparently premiere in the States, on Ryan seacrests radio show sometime in September with the girls doing a full radio tour to promote it and to get their name out there

Right?! I like the studio version but this one is catchier I think. Plus I think it's way more expressive.

Perez Hilton said they'll be debuting it at his party. Blachhhhk

I'm actually kind of happy for them to come to the states, but it should be Girls Aloud.

That said Una's baby is adorrrrrrrrrrrable.

robotpotatoes 31st-Aug-2012 03:17 pm (UTC)
i fucking love the Saturdays but once Mutya Siobhan and Keisha comes back... they might need to step down a bit.
hypnology 31st-Aug-2012 03:22 pm (UTC)
I'm not from the UK, but I've never gotten the impression that the saturdays are THAT massive. I always thought Sugababes & GA ranked higher than them.
robotpotatoes 31st-Aug-2012 03:29 pm (UTC)
hmmm i think youre right but i just feel like lately theyve been doing so well cause neither GA or Sugababes have anything released.
sonadoras456 31st-Aug-2012 10:29 pm (UTC)
They are massive in the tabloids lol...that's why they still are getting money poured into them.
insomniachobs 31st-Aug-2012 11:51 pm (UTC)
They do consistently well in the singles charts, but they seem to be suffering some weird thing where they never manage to get to #1 and it's kind of got them stuck in this image of being second class/also rans.

Which is a shame because they're adorable and have a lot of really good pop in their catalogue.

I've been loving all their staged paparazzi photos since they've been in LA. Like honestly...Who the hell gets papped at a Dodger game??
fight4thislove 31st-Aug-2012 03:32 pm (UTC)
Its E! calling the paps. They need the girls pictures out there so the public knows who they are.

Like, I was shocked this week to see pictures of them in People, US Weekly, In Touch & Life and Style magazine.

okay_awesome 31st-Aug-2012 09:28 pm (UTC)
That was during the game tho inside the stadium. These girls were papped outside of the stadium

And amazing icon btw
insomniachobs 31st-Aug-2012 11:52 pm (UTC)
US paps are weirdly always all over British stars even when they're not big in the US. I can only assume British tabloids must pay them handsomely
prophecypro 31st-Aug-2012 03:25 pm (UTC)
4 out of 5 of them would get it. And thats about it when it comes to Saturdays. But if you like Pop I guess they're alright
shy_mse 31st-Aug-2012 03:26 pm (UTC)
I don't know who these girls are, but they all look so friggin' basic.
So many cookie cutter forever 21 girls out there
andres01234 31st-Aug-2012 03:43 pm (UTC)
They're the cheap copy of Spice Girls, Sugababes and Girls Aloud... and with far less success
adressa 31st-Aug-2012 03:54 pm (UTC)
