When Robert Pattinson joked to Jimmy Kimmel Aug. 22 that he's "homeless," he wasn't exactly kidding.
Although the British actor, 26, re-emerged earlier this month to gamely promote his new film Cosmopolis, things are definitely not back to normal over a month after he (and the rest of the world) discovered girlfriend Kristen Stewart's July 17 tryst with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Case in point: An insider confirms to Us Weekly that Pattinson is "selling" the posh Los Feliz home in Los Angeles that Stewart moved into nearly a year ago. "He said there are too many memories," says the insider of Pattinson, who had been dating Twilight costar Stewart for three years.
Although Stewart has been splitting her time with BFF Scout Taylor-Compton in Burbank, Calif. and with her parents in L.A.'s Woodland Hills nabe, she hasn't yet officially moved out of the $6.3 million house, which Pattinson bought in September 2011. Once owned by ER star Noah Wylie, the abode is "on an acre and a half of land and has a 150-person screening room and amazing gardens," according to a source.
A second insider adds that Pattinson and Stewart "are talking" in the wake of her fling with married Snow White and the Huntsman director Sanders, 41.
"Rob doesn't hate her and he's not mad . . . He just doesn't get why she did it. He loves her and thinks about her constantly."
Stewart, meanwhile, is "close to a total meltdown," according to another source. "She isn't sleeping and she stays up all night crying."

But people who were fans and who try to use this kind of reasoning? I can't even.
(And no, lest I be accused of defending her actions - I'm not. But since she didn't cheat on me, nor has she, to my knowledge, killed anyone, run over puppies and/or children, or embezzled funds from a charitable organization, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it's nobody's place to judge her or her actions but those directly affected by them.)
