Daniel only appears in three or so scenes, and even Henry wasn't enough to make up for how boring the movie was.

I enjoyed it quite a lot tbh. If you feel like watching it you should go ahead, not everyone's taste is the same. What someone else hated you might really like, which is what I had with Alexander; 70 percent of the reviews I read were by people who loathed the movie. I on the other hand loved it. It remains my number one most favourite movie ever.
