The burgeoning world of on-demand/digital releases for feature films hit a big milestone this week. The dark romantic comedy Bachelorette – about three best friends (Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan) on an epic pre-wedding bender – hit No. 1 on the iTunes Movies chart. It’s the first time a film has hit that benchmark before its theatrical release. Bachelorette, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, opens in select theaters on Sept. 7.
The accomplishment is especially sweet for the film’s distributor, RADiUS, which was created by The Weinstein Company earlier this year specifically to release films in non-traditional formats. Bachelorette was the company’s first acquisition.

that's actually a great business model, i'd rather download a movie like this than pay 10x more for a movie ticket and concessions for room with a big screen and way-too-cold air conditioning where i can't even cuddle my dog
i make better popcorn tbh, i got some coconut oil the other day and it's super yummy to pop corn in, then i melt some butter with a bit of garlic powder and chili flakes and pour it on and add popcorn salt and mmmmmmmmmmmmm
hungry, brb

they also did the same thing with the black maid (surprise!) like "girlfriend to girlfriend" and "i don't think she speaks english very well."
i understand they're supposed to be bitches and all but that shit is so played and tired and as a POC watching this film i kept wishing they wouldn't go there.
I loved her in Confessions of a Shopaholic.
and they didn't disappoint me, i would watch these 2 in everything
I'm going to look for it there
i'm still pressed over her tragic melancholia snub
rotten tomatoes didn't score this very high but i might give this a second look
The movie was all kinds of twisted.
Mainly because of Isla Fisher and Lizzy/Adam.
i didn't even finish it
