Funny b/c I thought the opposite - I kind of think she looks more like herself in these shots than she has in a long time - to me she looks more like the younger Nicole except with horrible hair.

not 'in character' exactly, but the film's set in the 80's I think and this shoot was def. related to that, I was watching a segment on TV about this shoot and they were goin' on about "80's-inspired" looks.


I really like her eye-make up in these. And I agree that contrary to not looking like herself, she looks a lot like her younger self in these. idk.

Tom Cruise did it recently though - in that shoot where he had all of the fake tattoos.... Both that shoot and this one have that desperate side to them.
