MILEY CYRUS’S HAIR-VOLUTION

WE’LL BE HONEST, SHE’S LOOKED BETTER AND SHE’S LOOKED WORSE…

Miley Cyrus’s hair has been on a bit of a spiritual journey of late.

First it was scraped up into a topknot for Pilates, then it was bleached within an inch of its life, then it was shaved into oblivion.

But actually Miley’s hair has always been changing, it’s been long, short, brunette, blonde and everything in between.

So we thought we’d have a little look back at Miley’s Hair-Volution and take you on the magical journey with us…

Back in 2009 at the Capital Radio Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena in London, Miley’s hair was SUPER long and a rich brunette colour.

It looks like she's crimped it into those waves, retro!

Miley tamed her hair into long sleek waves for the 38th Annual American Music Awards in 2010, for a classic look.

She kind of looks like she could be a long lost Kardashian sister... Kiley Kardashian?!

Wow, ok now Miley looks like a mermaid.

That hair is so long! She's definitely getting some help from extensions there.

She’s had blonde highlights run through it too.

Here Miley still has the length, but she’s wearing slightly less extensions.

It looks kind of thin and straggly at the bottom. NOT a good look.

For the MTV Video Music Awards in 2011, in Los Angeles, Miley wore her hair in a pretty mid-height bun.

Was this the first version of her famous top knot bun?

At the People's Choice Awards in January this year Miley had got rid of a lot of the length and had some honey highlights.

Her hair looks in such good condition here!

By February 2012 Miley had cut her hair into a long bob.

Here she’s styled it into old school Hollywood waves. We like it, but it kind of makes Miley look much older than she is.

The next month she wore it in loose waves with a subtle dip-dye for the world premiere of The Hunger Games. It looks relaxed and rock chic, we like!

Miley dressed up her side boob with a volume-tastic bob for the 2012 Billboard Awards.

So before the chop Miley had her hair dyed blonde and cut into a cute bob.

But it didn’t really matter because this is the hairstyle she always wore.

Her beloved topknot bun.

Practical enough for Pilates, stylish enough for shopping around Hollywood.

And this is where we find ourselves today.

Peroxide blonde pixie cut with shaved back and sides.

Wow, thanks for going on that journey with us. I think we learned a lot and it was pretty emotional. *sniff*

But which hair style do you like best on Miley? We can’t decide! Maybe the bob?
