I don't understand the obsession some people have with their girlfriends. I mean aside from Perrie, who has her own career and fame to explain the interest I get, but the obsession with Eleanor (and to some extent Danielle) is honestly beyond me. I don't particularly have any opinion on them, they just aren't anything to me, they haven't done anything to earn the full blown stanning some people do for them.

yeah the contents of her closet are kind of amazing. not surprising though lbr, considering all her and louis seem to do is get starbucks and go shopping. lol

Yeah, I don't get it either. I mean, I suppose it's better than the other extreme (hate messages, "We Hate [Insert GF's Name Here]" clubs and such), but it's still odd to me to be obsessed with these people for no other reason than they're dating a member of the band you like. Unfortunately I seem to have terrible taste like a lot of all-male pop bands, and this seems to happen fairly often. If I was a gf I guess I'd be flattered, but you also know there's this underlying sentiment of fans just waiting for you to break up/disappear...

I know right? And tbh I don't know about anyone else but if my 'right to fame' was because of who I was fucking, I wouldn't exactly feel the need to cash in on that attention. Unless you're already a public figure, I don't understand why they need to become ones. At least Danielle already works in the entertainment industry, with or without her connection to Liam. The 'Calderics' thing seriously freaks me out.

Yeah, although to be fair I feel like there's some significant others who obviously relish that attention, and others who become semi-celebrities against their will. Even though I joke about the tween fanbase, it must still be disturbing as hell to have thirsty 14 year olds constantly sending you threats and criticisms.

Oh jeez, do I want to know what the "Calderics" thing is?

I get that there are some people who would love the attention, but I feel like if you are that kind if person that's fine, then you shouldn't take what thirsty 14 year olds say to hear, especially if there's such an easy way to not get that. They don't HAVE to be public figures, they chose to do it and that's not their boyfriends' fault.

It's what Eleanor's stans call themselves on Tumblr. There is seriously too much of an insane obsession surrounding this 20 year old no body college student. Even in the media, I feel like often times there's more written about Eleanor and Louis or Eleanor than even just Louis himself.

Yeah, I guess you have to sever yourself from all that while also keeping in mind that these people know nothing about you, their comments don't actually reflect you as a person, etc.
