Have a great weekend & be safe! No porn, nudes, spam, fighting, advertising, dickishness, huge browser slowing comments. Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
Yay for the goddamn fucking weekend, yo. My damn job is crazy ass crazy with crazy ass, mean bitches who don't show up for work and when they do are snitches and bitches. We have so much work its not even funny. So yay for the weekend, shit.
Baby shower for the stable hand's wife tomorrow, shoeing for my hubby's horse. Sunday, I start taking stuff back to my mom's house as hubby and I have to leave the apt soon. We are going back to each other's parent's house so I am not amused but know that this will help us save up for a house in the long run. We start searching for a place in Jan.
In other news, my cat who has Renal Disease is having a down time but still being herself (sitting around, cock blocking on the couch, etc). I'm giving her IV fluids ever couple of days, but now she needs it daily which of course cost more. I REALLY hope the vets write me up a prescription so I can get them in bulk. I think fluids daily will really help her stay happy. Of course the special kidney diet too. :)
has anyone seen this documentary? I thought it was pretty fascinating even though I couldn't wrap my head around the whole host bar thing. I know escorts are everywhere, but it's hard to believe young women would spend all their money cultivating this kind of pseudo relationship. Especially knowing there are dozens of other girls buying time with the same dude.
I saw it awhile ago. TBH one of the main things that struck me as I watched it was how ugly the dudes were, so why were women dropping so much cash lol. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
i saw it. loved it. so messed up though, and depressing as hell.
edit - as for why young women pay that kind of money, i figure it's japan's culture of loneliness. most of those women are prostitutes or work in the sex industry, they're just human bodies to their customers and bodies only. they want to reverse that power relationship, so they go to host bars where they can pay for those few hours of control and attention.
i just think they don't feel loved, but host bars give them that illusion, and sadly they'll spend their life savings there. :(
i went to a book sale today and got a STACK of disney hardcover storybooks for 50 cents each and the art of the hunchback of notre dame for a dollar WOOOOO
i live in an apartment with two roommates, t and k. k's room is twice the size of my room and t's room. i recently sent out a facebook message saying that we should determine who pays rent (totaling 1600) by square feet of our rooms, that way it's completely up to math and not arbitrary numbers from anyone. k says that that is unfair, as she doesn't want to ask her dad for more money still (for the first three months, we all paid 533). t agrees with her, but i really don't think it's fair that she pays 600 vs 500 and 500 with a room that is not only twice the size of ours, but has more than one outlet, enough power from the grid to power her own air conditioner, three windows (t and i both have windows that face each other/a wall), and her own entrance. should i push for what i think is a more fair way to determine rent? i can answer any other questions to make the situation more clear.
