Lindsay Lohan helped porn star James Deen reach new levels of prowess while filming 'The Canyons'.
The 26-year-old actress - who has previously posed nude for Playboy magazine - appears as the adult film star's lover in forthcoming thriller, and James insists the brunette beauty was ''super professional'' while filming their X-rated scenes in his big screen debut, and he ''learned a lot'' from her.
He said: ''Working with her was awesome. She's super professional; super great. She's a fantastic actress, it was really, really awesome. I feel like I learned a lot from her like in the scenes we did together, they were my stronger scenes.''
James appears alongside 'Milk' star Gus Von Sant and 'Desperate Housewives' beauty Tenille Houston in the movie - which tells the story of a group of youths and their sexual escapades in Los Angeles - and he credits Lindsay for bringing out the ''best'' in his acting ability.
Speaking in a video on TMZ.com, he added: ''Working with people who are really strong actors and very talented and stuff brings the best out of you. It was very helpful to me as an amateur.''
James recently revealed Lindsay has used her years of acting experience - which has seen her star in 'Freaky Friday' and 'Mean Girls' - to help bring the best out of the characters in the movie.
He said: ''So far it's been a pretty awesome experience, everything's been really fun.
''She's got great ideas. She's involved in the characters. She knows her s**t. She's good. She's really good.''

Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan Left for Dead in 'Scary Movie 5' Opener
Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan have signed deals to suffer horrible fates, including getting the ax, in Dimension Films' Scary Movie 5.
Terry Crews, who is part of the all-star cast of The Expendables 2, also has joined the production.
Sheen and Lohan will play what is being described by the studio as “the world’s hottest new couple” and with one or both being killed in the movie's opening sequence.
Each Scary Movie has thrust a celebrity or two into its opening just to kill them in an over-the-top way. Sheen and Lohan will follow Pamela Anderson, Shaquille O'Neal, Dr. Phil and others into the pantheon of the dead.
Ashley Tisdale and Erica Ash are starring the latest movie, directed by Malcolm Lee and co-written and produced by comedy legend David Zucker. Zucker worked on the Airplane! and Naked Gun movies, and he wrote and directed Scary Movie 3 and 4, both of which Sheen appeared in.
The movie is due to begin shooting September with an eye toward an April 19 release.
Sheen is coming off a role as president of the United States in Robert Rodriguez' Machete sequel, while Lohan next stars as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime telefilm Liz & Dick and is shooting the Los Angeles-based independent film The Canyons, written by Bret Easton Ellis.
Crews, whose casting was first reported by Blackfilm, also appears on HBO's The Newsroom.

I used to kinda like him, Lohan too. But now... Ergh, no.
she has great comedic timing, and would have played off of tisdale well
Good because I still favor him for Christian Grey.
And as usual, since Hollywood is stupid, they are looking to make a movie. I totally wouldn't mind if Christian Grey was played by James Deen. It's not like they're looking to make a great adaptation here in the first place.
Poor thing. Just go back to doing what you're good at and stick your dick in something.
