Rashida Jones Apologizes For John Travolta Gay Comment

Rashida Jones has apologized for a comment that she made implying that John Travolta is gay and needs to come out of the closet.

In an interview with Spinning Platters to promote her new movie Celeste and Jesse Forever, the 36-year-old actress discussed Frank Ocean‘s coming out and voiced her hope that a major movie star would come out next.

“A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this,” she said.

Rashida took to her Twitter account to apologize for the comment: “Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody’s personal life is my business,” she wrote.

Lmaooooop you are honestly a hoot. Are you a writer? If not, you should be. You gave such an active imagination. Now you're putting even more words in my mouth. Please, again, SHOW ME WHERE I SAID THAT COMING OUT IS ACKNOWLEDGING THRIR SEEDY HOMOSEXUAL SAVAGERY. Show me where. That's right, you can't because I never said such a thing. But I guess to you, protecting someone's right to come out on their own terms means believing that if they come out, they're admitting to seedy homosexual savagery.

Also, it's not your different opinion that made me call you imbalanced. It's the fact that you're making up things and claiming I said it - when, in fact, I have said NOTHING even remotely close to the pure garbage you're spewing. Also, the word imbalance doesn't belong only to those with mental disorders - but it's nice that that's where you took it.

You do seem to be a pretty vile person tho, so I don't even know why I'm bothering. I'm anxious to say what other antigay stance you're going to claim I said next tho!!!
