She's at it again!

Taylor Swift, whose heartfelt tunes famously reflect the status of her real-life relationships, unveiled a new song Monday night during an online chat with fans.

"I have some really big news," she said. "I'm really excited because I have a new album coming out on Oct. 22."

The album is called Red, and the first new single, which is already out on iTunes, is called "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

In an interview that aired Tuesday on Good Morning America, Swift, 22, admitted that the song is based on a real relationship and a breakup that just wouldn't stick.

While recording with songwriters Max Martin and Shellback, she said, "This guy walks in who is a friend of my ex's and starts talking about how he's heard we're going to get back together. And that was not the case. ... So I start telling them the story: break up, get back together, break up, get back together – just, ugh, the worst! And I picked up the guitar and Max said, 'This is what we're writing.' "
