Maybe somewhere can explain this to me but I don't find ABG funny at all. Like a lot of my friends are all like But she's like an older funnier version of you! And I'm just like yeah, no. I watched the whole 1st season. Does it get better? What am I missing?

I started watching it cause a friend of mine was like I would like/love it. Then I kinda put it off for a while till a bunch of my other friends were talking about. And I want to like it cause my friends like it and I should trust their taste but I'm just like meh.

Idk. I haven't watched this season yet because I hate the waits because the episodes and just want to watch them all at once, but I loved most of the first season. I didn't like the date episode and the Nina as the boss episodes, but I liked the other ones. I do relate a lot. Not necessarily all the specific situations because dating life is non-existent, but the general stuff, yep. Hallway stuff, the car stuff, the stupid crazy crush feelings and behavior, anxiety over what to wear, and the entire stapler episode.

Errr...I guess what I meant to say is the appeal of the show for me is J's general awkwardness and sarcastic comments about the situations she finds herself in, especially since they're not hedged under the bug-eyed white girl. Like, I don't give one ounce of a damn about the MTV show Awkward because people are always doing shows about awkward white girls who are never actually going to be that awkward or isolated because they're still white. If that doesn't appeal to you, then probably not going to get better.
