I don't hate it but I'm officially ready for it to be fall. I want to wear scarves and sweaters and drink pumpkin spice lattes already.

Me too. It's been 110+ for the last several weeks and I'm so sick of it. I'm ready for fall, Halloween, yummy fall treats and candles, and sweaters and jackets.

The only thing i mildly dislike about California. It gets soo hot here (today was around 105) and everybody seems to love it but me!

Its 106 here so yeah lol.

OMG, where are all you people?! I always seem to be the only one who loathes summer and people think I'm crazy. <3 you all.

I only like summer because I don't have to work, I get to see all my friends who work far away from here and I adore the sea but that's it. I hate crowded touristy beaches, annoying families in aforementioned beaches, "hot" babes, sleazy dudes, all that sweat, mosquitos and my inability to get a decent tan.

at least it was your cat, and not your mom judging you for eating two SMALL bowls of cereal after dinner because there wasn't enough for seconds after one helping of dinner, and I hadn't eaten all day. When I pointed out I hadn't eaten all day until then, she was like, "I didn't eat all day either, and just a little dinner was enough for me", so I said everyone has different appetites, and she said in a snide tone, "Well, that's obvious." She also made it seem like I had huge portions of dinner, when I only had a somewhat large helping of potatoes (though nothing out of the ordinary) and small portions of everything else, because there was plenty of potatoes for everyone, and not enough of everything else, so I skimped on everything else.

Ugh, I wish she would stop getting on me about my appetite and stop acting superior just because she has a birdlike appetite. It's not like I was eating out of boredom or anything, I was genuinely hungry. TBH, I think she was just pressed because I didn't leave her much gravy (never mind the fact that there wasn't much to begin with), which she bitched about before I got the cereal. And seriously, it was a healthy cereal and the bowl was tiny, it's not like I was gorging on Twinkies or even sugary cereal like Froot Loops).

Sorry for the tl;dr hijacking of your thread, but I needed to vent.

lol I just made butter cookies with jam in the middle and ate so much of the dough that I don't feel like eating the actual finished product.
