it's weird because a couple of the people who are really bad about it...never used to be that way. they've been here for years, too. i don't understand their sudden wave of racial anxiety toward every post that comes through. certainly, racial issues need to be discussed. but not in every post, all day long. that's ridiculous and it detracts from the fun that we're supposed to have on this site.

and gurl, the ONLY time i give a long winded reply is if i think someone has a truly open mind. so let me tell you right now, kimberwyn, batty_gal, rogue, kwikimart and bolingi_aii don't deserve anymore than a side-eye and a one liner. lj notes are a truly beautiful thing.

yah, it's probably a waste of time. I usually hope that other people who come along and agree with those people will also read my point of view as well... but most likely not. You pretty much named most of the people I am thinking of. There are a couple others too and sadly I usually recognize them by their icons first and lately have just been skipping right past so that I don't get heated.

if you've got a paid account, you can hover over someone's icon and make a little note that appears next to their name every time you see them.
