Another reason NBC sucked. They focused on just a few folks while those who didn't have 10 minute devotions kicked ass and took medals.

And then they were all about Jordyn sitting on the sidelines cheering on her teammates during their individual events. Well you know who did it the ENTIRE time?! KYLA ROSS.

It took me forever to realize who Jordyn Wieber kept reminding me of, she looks just like the girl who played Kelly on Misfits!

Because most ONTDers only watch gymnastics once every four years.

I think it's because NBC kept going on and on and on and ON about her and how amazing, fabulous, wonderful, miraculous she was ... and then while she was good, she just didn't even remotely live up to the hype at all. For people who only watch the Olympics (or the Olympic Trials and the Olympics), it was a whole lotta RAH!RAH!RAH! for someone who failed to deliver. And on top of that NBC while going on ad nauseum about her talked down about Queen Gabby and pretty much ignored the other girls (except for Mikayla on vault) until they were forced to talk about them.

tbh i just feel bad for her. i couldn't stand her gymnastics (and i normally like power gymnasts, just be neat, like shawn and carly) but it's obvious she just really loves her sport and wants to focus on it and never felt comfortable with the whole ~it girl~ thing. it's not her fault nbc was trying to force it on her, and it's not her fault she's had such a shitty time (injury aside), that's her coach for not having the hindsight to change her beam routine. instead he was being passive aggressive online smh.
