Well, this is new. It looks like the athletes aren't the only ones hooking up at the games. London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony director Danny Boyle and Rosario Dawson appear to be going steady.

The couple, who were spotted got cozy in Brighton, U.K., met after the director hired Dawson to star in his crime thriller Trance.

Boyle, whose opening ceremony was the most watched in history, is 20 years older than the 33-year-old actress.

The Sin City actress is apparenlty getting into the Olympic spirit by going for the gold(en age).

Go on, you two crazy kids!

ONTD, would you date an older guy? If so, would he have to have the looks and the money?

He's probably super fascinating to talk to and be around, though. I can understand if she just became attracted to him because of that.

Definitely. There've been a couple of guys I didn't find physically attractive initially, and then once I got to know them I totally fell for them and suddenly the things I didn't notice before were really cute, etc and I looked forward to talking to them and stuff. And the opposite has been equally true-- I had the biggest crush on this guy back in high school, who was absolutely gorgeous, then I had a class with him and started hanging out with him and realized what an awful, unlikable person he was and suddenly he wasn't so attractive anymore.

I always think of those sorts of things when I see couples like this.

This is totally true, getting to know someone can make someone you didn't initially find attractive, attractive, and getting to know someone you did find cute can make them ugly lol.

lol, you're less cynical than I am. My thoughts when I see couples like this are "if her physical attractiveness level was the same as his, he wouldn't look twice at her". It's always women who grow to see past looks, and are in fact expected to. Men rarely seem to do the same.

lol omg I think exactly the same bb it's soo annoying tbh lmao

Oh, no I agree with that. I'm a woman lol. I can't remember where it was, but there was actually a scientific study done on that, that explained why that is. I agree it's not right, but then so long as both parties are happy with each other, more power to them.

100% agreed

ita, people forget that physical features aren't the only thing that can make someone attractive.

This comment is my love life in a nut shell. The only difference is that my super hot HS crush turned out be an airhead, not mean. I never stopped liking someone so fast, haha.

But anyway, IA. I no longer put emphasis on looks.
tracycutie 8th-Aug-2012 01:59 pm (UTC)
Haha both things happened to me as well

mte, he's made some great movies and his soundtracks are usually pretty awesome so I wouldn't be surprised if he's a pretty cool guy to be around.
drunkagron 7th-Aug-2012 11:13 pm (UTC)
i get that, tbh.
desi_kudi728 7th-Aug-2012 11:34 pm (UTC)

ametalheart 8th-Aug-2012 12:20 am (UTC)
Exactly. Looks only go so far.
frenchverbs 8th-Aug-2012 01:22 am (UTC)
Exactly. I'll take an amazing personality and wonderful anecdotes over looks any day.
