I had a dream that I was watching the sequel. My uncle apparently worked for the studio and managed to get a copy while I was staying with my family. But he ended up taking out the film RIGHT BEFORE the ending.
I was bitching because I knew that meant I'd have to wait until 2014 to see it.
I'm glad I caught this post because I've been meaning to ask for some comic recs. The movies have made me want to read some but idk what to read because there's so much. I read Infinity Gauntlet, Demon in A Bottle, and Extremis this past week and they were pretty interesting.
I would say check out some of the Essential Avengers volumes. They are very cheap on Amazon, have a ton of content, and are great to read for all of the early Avengers stuff.
As for specific story lines, I would reccomend checking out Civil War (it has a lot of problems, but if you're looking for some good Tony/Cap interaction it's a great comic), anything related to the Dark Reign event, ( I would HIGHLY reccomend Dark Avengers, it's easily one of the best comics in the past 5 years, such a blast.). Siege was also wonderful ( read this after Dark Reign to get the full effect.).
I want Heroes For Hire, but I'd take Young Avengers. Though, I don't know how connected I want it because I doubt they'd be able to get, like, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, etc. to appear in the TV series so that could make things complected.
Jackson, maybe. He's done TV plenty of times (Boondocks, for one). But yea, the rest of them? Maybe as a season finale megatacularextravaganzapalooza budget blow-out thing.
