Rob Kardashian is going to law school

Rob Kardashian has announced that he will be heading back to college to fulfill his dream of becoming a lawyer.

The 25-year-old has always expressed his desire to follow in the footsteps of his father Robert Kardashian and attend law school, however, since graduating from business school a few years ago, he has become absorbed into the celebrity world and fame surrounding his three older sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe.

It seems Rob has discovered his passion again and shared the news with his Twitter followers that he will be heading back to school in the near future.

"Going to Law School very soon and so excited and can't wait!" Rob tweeted yesterday.

"School just never ends for me! #UniversityofSouthernCal #Trojans #FightOn."

Rob's father was part of the infamous Dream Team that helped O.J. Simpson escape a double murder conviction.

Good luck! Where are you going? I'm aiming to start next year.

Thank you! I'm going to Villanova, right outside of Philadelphia. Good luck with your applications! They're really not that bad.

me too. Taking the LSAT in either Oct or Dec. I think I need to push it back to Dec because after taking my first practice LSAT ever and getting a 157 I have done like two sets of logic games and nothing else >_<

Which schools are you going to apply to? I actually woke up at 4:30 am today in a sweat because I still don't know. I'm thinking I could easily get into Lewis and Clark but my friend (who is helping me prepare for the LSAT) thinks if I study enough for the LSAT I could probably do almost as well as her (she got a 179) and she thinks I should apply to some t14 schools :/

I am just like "BUT I DONT KNOWWWW" I am thinking I will apply to L&C, Georgetown, and maybe Columbia? Maybe Harvard? IDK UGHHHHHH I have a 3.7 gpa right now and I know I could get some amazing letters of rec because I am working with this woman who was a professor at Duke University on some non profit environmental outreach.

I AM FREAKING OUTTTTTTTTT

I have a looooong list that I'm applying to spread out across the Top 50. I'll also throw in apps to anywhere that gives me a fee waiver because why not.

I'm freaking out to because people keep talking about how bad it is for lawyers. But I make less than $35K right now and even if I stay with my company the most I will ever make is still less than $40K a year. I want more for myself dammit!

157 is not bad at all for first time ever. You could go up at least ten points. A 179 is probably stretching it for almost everyone (my bf got a 179 and people in that range always seem to think it's just normal and so easy). 167+ will likely get you into a t14. It's doable.

I graduated law school from a t14 6 years ago and now interview tons of candidates (laterals and newbies) so here's my one caution to you - don't go to Lewis and Clark unless you plan to stay in that area AND get a scholarship guaranteed for 3 years (not to disparage any L&C people). Getting a job is DAMN HARD these days.

I really do want to move to Portland, so it kind of works?

I am just overestimating because I took it at my friend's second floor apartment in 100+ degree heat and she didn't have her a/c running and her cats kept either ramming the door when they were closed up or walking all over me. It was rough and on some of the sections I was just like, "Fuck this, not reading the question, I am dripping sweat on this paper." I should have tried harder but holy shit I thought I was about to pass out.

omg you sound like you are in fine shape. I think I got a 160 first practice test and the environment was a lot more comfortable than you describe. And I improved a lot for the real thing from there.

It sounds like you could get a really good score. I'd recommend a Bay Area school, Univ. of Oregon or Univ. of Washington if you want to end up in the PNW.

Of course I shouldn't even be recommending law school...I'm sitting on ONTD having billed like 1 hour today because I can't bring myself to draft a settlement agreement...

I was seriously amazed my score was that high after all of that because I seriously just started just putting answers down for some of them, it was a really rough day, I should probably take another one in a more 'comfortable' environment to get a real sense of where I am at. Fuck, I just need to do a section a day until test day.

I think once I raise my GPA this semester and get my really awesome letters of rec + my involvement with enviro groups and other non profits + working really hard on studying for the LSAT + working on research at school I might have a good chance at getting in somewhere??? I am just stressed out so much. My friend keeps pushing for me to try Columbia and/or Harvard and I am like "But...idk...:/"

I don't even want to be a stereotypical "lawyer," per se, I want to focus on natural resources and environmental law with a focus on the clean water act, maybe some international nat. resource and env. law mixed in. My passion is pretty much water issues.

Bwahahaha, I feel so comforted in knowing that I am not the only person in the world who procrastinates hardcore.

Where did you go for law school, if you don't mind my asking?

oh you definitely sound like you will be fine. But really only the LSAT will determine your range of schools. Seriously it's not that hard to get into a top school with a decent LSAT - I still have no idea how much my recs and involvement in stuff actually mattered.

If your passion is water issues, definitely focus on that in law school and during your 1L summer so you'll be taken seriously in that regard during 2L interviews. But beware; it is easy to get caught up in the interviewing hype machine and end up doing something COMPLETELY different than you thought.

I went to University of Michigan for law school and loved it. At that time it wasn't nearly so tough to get a job - I feel for everyone right now.

I am happy to answer whatever questions you might have, btw! I finished the one thing I was working on but now am futzing around w/Spotify at my desk.

Thank you so much for the insight!

I've already looked into like internships and externships and I have an in at the southern environmental law center if I choose to do one where I'm from.

Yeah, I am soooo :/ about the job prospects, but I really have a passion and I honestly can't imagine doing anything else. I even looked at PhD programs in toxicology and public health but I don't know if I could dedicate myself to those things. Bughhhh.
