sounds cool! better than I'm doing- my hair is a hot mess and I haven't been able to get in with my hairdresser, and now I broke my ankle and can't even drive. FML.
lol well i suppose it depends on what you want done.. but $20-30 for a haircut/trim isn't bad in my book. They always do a great job too, so I never worry.
now i just go to the aveda hair school in SoHo-- they're cheap and the students are pretty good.. so it works out. :P
then i went and i was like
this is not cheap.
unless we are talking of 2 different cities, both with sohos
it's only 20 bucks for a newer student and 30 for a student about to graduate.

When i was going abroad, so many people were like "go to aveda in soho. Super cheap"
And i was like
This is not cheap
Also, there's a chance it was not in their soho area and i'm just fucking this up
Either way, aveda in london is not cheap
the teachers and pros were out of control price wise
