Ryan Lochte gives his entire heart; likes basic actresses

On the heels of collecting five medals in London – including a pair of gold's – the Florida-product joins Piers Morgan to reflect upon his rapid rise to stardom, and the overwhelming attention – particularly from his female fans – that has followed:

"If I could take you to a desert island it would be perfect for you, because you could swim all day long," begins the host. "A desert island and you could choose one famous woman to spend the rest of your life with, who would you take right now?"

Pausing briefly to ponder his options, Lochte eventually commits to a fellow twenty-something heartthrob:

"Right now, Blake Lively," says the man celebrating his 28th birthday Friday. "Yeah, she is gorgeous."

Having never met the "Gossip Girl" starlet, Lochte reveals his potential pick-up line:

"I would be like, 'Hi.' I’d be like, 'You want to go to an island with me?'”

Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, then tune in this evening at 9 p.m. as the man who's trained against Michael Phelps for eight years attempts to explain what his mom meant when she said "Ryan only has time for one-night stands at the moment.

that is disgusting.

other than SFX in Canada, most school here fail you if you do poorly hahah. I worked as an academic adviser at a university in Toronto and I swear, people hoping to one day be NHL, CFL or other professional athletes would be kicked off teams for poor grades, or suffer through tutoring with me.

Yeah, but look at Canada's medal count and sports in general and look at the U.S. 'Nuff said

Pretty sure people being educated is better than a medal at a competition.
