Is Kristen Stewart attached to star in Lie Down In Darkness?
While a Stewart insider initially confirmed she would play Peyton Loftis in the adaptation of William Styron’s 1951 novel about a dysfunctional Virginia family, now a source involved with the production is saying no casting decisions have been made.
The production source tells Gossip Cop, “While it’s exciting to see all the interest the project is generating, the film is still in the pre-production process, and no offers to cast have been made as of yet.”
Lie Down In Darkness is centered around the psychologically fragile Peyton’s relationships with her troubled mother and father.
The film is being directed by Scott Cooper.
Gossip Cop will update when the production makes its casting decisions official.
