‘Twilight’ Cast Ordered To Stay Silent On Kristen Stewart’s Affair

Earlier today, August 2nd, we reported that Summit was moving ahead with scheduled promotion for Breaking Dawn — Part 2 despite Kristen Stewart’s heavily publicized affair with Rupert Sanders! But there may be a few regulations set in place before promotion begins!

A source close to the situation tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “They want to have a zero tolerance policy on any questions geared towards the affair.”

Apparently, co-star Christian Serratos, who plays Angela Weber (Bella’s human friend), didn’t get the memo! She said, “Of course people are fans of us now, but I think above anything, they’re fans of these characters,” she says. “I don’t think anyone’s really [going to] give a s**t. They’re [going to] see the movie; it’s going to be awesome.”

The cast is reportedly already taking sides when it comes to Robert Pattinson and Kristen’s rocky relationship. “They’ll rally around Rob,” a source tells Us Weekly. “He is the nicest guy. They can’t believe Kristen did this to him.”

Rob is extremely brave for partaking in ANY future work commitments such as promotion for Cosmopolis and Breaking Dawn — Part 2. We’re sure he will get asked LOTS of questions regarding his relationship with Kristen. But it does seem like a good idea for the cast to stay mum on the subject of the affair — for Rob’s sake at least!

I really don't get this comment. I'm not 13 years old, nor do I have pictures of her on my walls. I'm 24, working, live independently, and still a fan. Not excusing her behaviour, what she did was shitty, but I'm still her fan.

a majority of her fans, however, act as of they are 13. I mean, they hide US Weeklys in grocery stores so it won't get sold, they made a support video for her (with most of the girls being in their early teens with walls of posters that are just twilight/Kristen) behind them, they're on tumblr 24/7 talking about Kristen with usernames that contain "stew" or "robsten" in any way, shape or form, and they enjoy pretending everything that happened over the past week has been photoshopped. Some may be over 13 but they sure as hell don't act like it, just as some who are on their teens are surprisingly mature. All in all, the bad apples are outshining fans like yourself (unless of course you do any of the above.) xxx

Ugh, that is the reason why I stopped checking my Tumblr dashboard. Being hopeful and optimistic but those pics are as real as they can get, sadly. I agree about some fans whose acts are really crazy, I just feel compelled to reply because I do know fans who are still sane, even after this fuckery.

No, I'm glad you replied because I should have clarified what I meant & I used the wrong term (should have said fangirls). Sorry about that, bb! There's a major difference between being a "fan" and a "fangirl/fanboy." As someone else put it in terms of band fandoms...

In my opinion it's mostly a difference in the degree of admiration and/or devotion:

--A fan of a band might have most of their records and visit their concerts when they happen to be somewhere near him.

--A fanboy has all of their records (including those bootleg records and a few unreleased ones) and goes to all of their concerts, even if they are on a different continent.

Often the term fanboy also implies that the devotion to the topic of his fandom is blind and unreflected. A commonly used term is "Apple fanboy" for people who will praise all Apple products for being perfect and not listening when someone makes a reasonable argument that some little thing that came from Apple is less than perfect.

The implication here is that discussion with a "fanboy" about his topic has become impossible because he's beyond the realm of reason.

All fandoms have crazies like these that ruin it for everyone else (some of my fandoms are really insane, it's so sad. Embarrassing.), but it seems like Kristen's is just full of them.

I agree with the definitions. I don't fulfill the requirements to call myself a fangirl I guess. Thank goodness, as my days of waiting for hours for celebrities are over, though I only did it for Queen Brit and Joshua Radin. LOL.
But so we're clear, I still can't bring myself to hate her, though I DO agree with some stans are very, uhmm, hardcore. Been a fan since I was 18, she reminds me of the good times I had back in college.
