Gabby Douglas is proudly representing her country in the Olympics. She's poised under pressure, performing gravity-defying athletic feats in front of an international audience. She's 16 and the second female African American U.S. gymnast to ever make the team. But instead of lauding her achievements, some people are slamming her for... not getting her hair done.

Oh well, she'll be having the last laugh when, in ten years, the weave abusers have no hair left and she has her thick hair.
Real talk though, she is ridiculously talented and hard working, why are we focusing on her hair?
And on the subject of chemicals, the damage really sucks, I feel you bb. idk if you'll find this helpful, but a pre-shampoo scalp massage with warm oil has really helped me with chemical damage. It's a pain in the ass, but my hair does feel thicker now.
much better than an ugly as hell Brazilian weave imo
she made olympic history
People need to stop projecting their own standards of beauty/insecurities on this young woman and give her the credit she deserves. She did the black community proud today, nitpicking about her appearance is petty.

people do need to stop with Gabby's hair though. she looks fine. and she's too busy being a fierce gymnast to worry about these idiots' opinions on her hair anyway.
BRUSH IT OFF GABBY.
