Better late than never!!

I mentioned in a blog a few days ago, that a friend of mine and her girlfriend had attended a BIG JAPAN show last week, and met Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson.  So, here I am, days later, posting the events of last week.

Thursday, June 1st, to be exact.  At the BIG JAPAN show in los angeles at the Key Club.  (I could have sworn the name of the band was Big IN Japan, but according to her, and <a href="http://www.myspace.com/bigjapan">their myspace</a>, I am incorrect.)








Gabe Mcnair from NO DOUBT doing his thing with his new band, Oslow.  Or so Laura says.  Is he one of those two guys that was always with No Doubt, but never got CREDITED as members of the band?  That always bugged me.  What kind of arrangement was that?


Adam Brody on drums.  Laur proudly discovered, via asking him, that he is indeed actually Jewish.


<a href="http://www.myspace.com/nathanialcastro">Nathanial Castro</a>, who is apparently the nicest guy ever, according to the girls.  I am unaware of who he is.  Adam Brody in the back on drums.





<a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0365501/">Bret Harrison</a>, who I think is a hoot comedically, is the lead guitarist.

And now, the meat of the entry!:


Laura and Adam, who's looking mighty scruffy.  She said that he came up to her and Steph and introduced himself.  Asked if she liked the show.  How nice!


Laur and Rachel Bilson.  Who they both found to be extremely sweet and nice to them.  I think she looks incredibley skinny, but refreshingly normal.


Adam and Steph... did he just really not want to get off the stage, or what?


Steph and Rachel, looking like old friends.  I am completely baffled as to why it looks like she's crying tears of joy.


Steph and Bret Harrison.  Does anyone know if his new show was cancelled along with the rest of them, or what?  It was called The Loop...

Steph has met Ben McKenzie from the OC... (she lives in the area.)  I have NO idea when this was taken.


Same with this one, of Laura and Kate Moennig of the L Word.  Which I'm completely clueless of, but I thought I'd share.  How do you recognize someone in such an "incognito" outfit like that?
