Mariah Carey's "Triumphant" New Single To Premier on B96 in two days! + Mimi Releases Lyrics

Thursday, August 2, is the day we've been waiting for, and "it's not too far!" Earlier this evening, Mariah gave us a preview of the song's lyrics via an image tweeted from her Instagram account.

In less than 48 hours, "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" will make its world premiere on Chicago's B96! This has been confirmed by Jermaine Dupri via Twitter, and the B96 website. (Click here for B96's announcement.)

I hope she actually SINGS on this. Not here for her whispering and talking she's been doing lately. And I hope it's not too urban, either. I was really hoping for some "Emotions" like production but I guess we're not getting that?

And that cover. I swear she's been doing that style since 1997.

i hope it doesnt sound like her stuff from her last 2 albums they were too...pop for me, MiMi was a really good album imo especially her vocals but she was basically whispering throughout her last 2 albums.

How was Memoirs pop? With the exception of Obsessed it was pretty far away from the current trends pop was going for/leaning in. Obsessed sticks out like a sore thumb. Memoirs was more smooth r&b and definitely stands out in comparison to her other albums, whether or not this is a good or bad thing is pretty much up to whoever listens.
