The 36-year-old pregnant actress and her production company will adapt the bestselling book “Gone Girl,” written by former Entertainment Weekly film critic Gillian Flynn.
Gone Girl is about a woman who disappears on her fifth wedding anniversary, casting suspicion on her husband. The story is told from the husband’s point of view in the presence and through the wife’s diary entries throughout the marriage.
