A FORMER nanny of the Kardashian clan says Kim Kardashian always wanted to be a "princess" and was just like Marcia of The Brady Bunch.
Pam Behan, who says she "raised" the famous family for five years during the early ‘90s, says the reality star was always the centre of attention and was similar to the egotistical, popular TV character.
"Just like when Jan always said 'Marcia Marcia Marcia', it was always 'Kim Kim Kim' in the house," Behan, the author of Malibu Nanny: The True Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny, told news.com.au.
"There's a quality about Kim, a princess quality. I don't mean this in a bad way but she has always thought of herself as a princess and wanted to be a princess and carries herself like a princess - I think that’s why she stood out."
Behan, who lived with the Kardashians until the four siblings were aged between 11 and 17, says her sisters didn't have the same aspirations as children.
"Kourtney and Khloe were more grounded, less interested in being in the spotlight and more normal."
But the former nanny says Kris Jenner had other plans for her daughters and was preparing them for fame their whole lives.
"I can't help but feel that deep down, she wanted it for herself maybe and it didn’t happen for her so she wanted to see it through her kids at least," she said.
"I believe she was grooming her children for their current celebrity status their entire lives... She always wanted what's happening right now - the show, the magazines, the fame, the unending talk, so I think she's living her dream right now."
While Kris and the Kardashian family have not officially endorsed the book, Behan says the “momager” has seen it and given her blessing.
