Russell Brand is Spilling That Tea, Calls Katy Perry a Pain in the Ass.

RUSSELL Brand has revealed Katy Perry was a pain in the ass during their short-lived marriage.

The British comedian — who recently finalized his divorce from the singer — shocked a live audience during the filming of his American show by saying Perry gave him “ass-ache”.

The 37-year-old star was at Solar Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday filming this week’s installment of his chat show BrandX for network FX.

While he refused to go into depth about his legal union to the 27-year-old singer after they announced their split in December, he had now admitted that she was irritating.

“Russell was bantering with the audience, in particular a couple called Curtis and Katy,” a source said.

“He got onto the subject of their sex life. Katy was giving as good as she got.

“Then, all of a sudden Russell shouted: ‘Anyway, enough of you. I’ve had enough ass-ache from people called Katy in the last year.’

“It was obvious he meant Katy Perry.
The whole room gasped. I think it took a couple of seconds for what he’d said to sink in.

“He then laughed and shouted: ‘Oh no, there might be a journalist in the room.’ He shrugged his shoulders and murmured: ‘Oh well,’ before moving onto his next subject.”

Katy recently blamed Russell for the breakdown of their marriage, as he didn’t come and see during her enough while she was on her California Dreams Tour.

When asked if Russell’s absence was the catalyst for the break-up, Katy replied, “Yes, if I could edit it any other way I would but that is exactly what it was.

“I always had plans to make this record (‘Teenage Dream’) and usually with a record, you tour.

“Touring is always important to me. It’s like a big IOU to my fans, because I know they are the reason I exist.”

well YEAH. Especially since instead of Katy resting on her off days she'd just exhaust herself even more by always flying out to see him.

Well I was putting it more as a "they'd see each other when she was in the area" kind of thing. It's one thing if the spouse doesn't work but didn't he have his own stuff as a celeb to handle? It just seems like a weird reason to end a marriage when tons of people do long distance relationships and it was only something they'd have to deal with for a fixed amount of time. I wonder if they didn't do stuff like video chats or keeping phone contact.

Some people can't do long distance relationships

True, but if you are a celeb you should know that all of your relationships will be like that, unless you want to give up your career or date someone who is unemployed and can follow you around.

I wondered that too, like couldn't they just skype date till tour was over?

I saw the film last night, and it just seemed that she would go wayyyy out of her way to see him (flying from europe to the US spend a day with him and get back to europe in time for the show) and even though he was also busy doing idk what, he wouldn't make the same effort. But because they didn't really spotlight the relationship too hard, we don't really know what exactly broke them up, but it seems like it was definitely a factor

see you said to me that the film didn't put anyone in a bad light, it just showed that they didn't see each other, yet clearly you've walked away with the impression that russell didn't do enough and katy went above and beyond.

not necessarily, I feel like I walked away with the impression that pursuing your dreams and trying to make time for the person you love is not an easy feat. She explained it perfectly at the end, she talked about how she never listened to people telling her that you have to choose between your career or your relationship because she felt that when she found her man the time apart wouldn't matter, but she learned that it really does.

It didn't feel like an attack on russell, it just showed how Katy really wanted both and ended up having to choose one. But that's just me since I'm in this business too. For any regular person they would probably walk away with the other impression that it's because russell was selfish or whatever

I'm really bad with words, so I'm probably confusing you

I agree....I feel like the movie didn't really show russell in a negative light at all. there was only one part where the said that he didnt come visit her while she was doing it on every day off. it wasn't really as bad as i thought it would be
