So..Finding Nemo 2 is happening



Writer/director Andrew Stanton has been behind some of the very best films in Pixar’s repertoire (and that’s saying something). He co-wrote Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, and Monsters Inc., and he wrote and directed the magnificent one-two punch of Finding Nemo and Wall-E. Stanton made his live-action debut earlier this year with the criminally underseen sci-fi epic John Carter, and now it looks like he’ll be returning to Pixar for his next feature, Finding Nemo 2. Thoughts..Excited, not excited? I love the first one, not sure how a second one would work tbh. John Carter disastuh aside, his Pixar work is flaw free

But... what about all the shitty Disney sequels? I don't think it's necessarily the format/style that makes sequels crummy, it's the storylines :/

lol at all the negativity why we have to be so sceptical?, Finding Nemo is my fave Pixar movie so I'm really excited! As long as all the characters from the first movie come back, especially Dori

And I don't get this "it seems Pixar is not inmune to sequels" c'mon their third movie was a sequel to their first. They were on the sequel bandwagon since the beginning js

Yes, and since Pixar did so well with the Toy Story sequels, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on this. (Cars 2 doesn't count 'cause the original Cars was crap too).

And they do have two original movies they are working on currently, so it's not like Nemo 2 is the only thing in the pipeline.
