Even as his relationship with Allison becomes further strained, Scott and Stiles must attend Lydia's birthday party while Derek locks his new wolves up to watch after them on their first full moon together.
I'm a hard core Dresden files fan (books + show, which reminds me I have a bunch of library books to return) but I haven't watched the ep yet, but I'll let you know. It'd be so cool if Stiles started dabbling in thaumaturgy and built himself a kinetic ring set, shield bracelet and shit so he could toss those mother fuckers across the room with a thought + finger twitch.
Also if he had the shield bracelet Scott could stop stressing all the time. If dude weren't a werewolf he'd probably have stress rash and Irritable Bowel and all sorts of other disgusting and unsexy illnesses from his overblown frettage.

I definitely like the books more than I liked the show. I really like Butcher's depiction of magic as...for lack of a better word...costly. I like that it's hard and it hurts and that it means something when a wizard uses it.
I feel like that sort of magic (should it happen) would fit into the Teen Wolf-verse as Jeff Davis has created it.
That and the prospect of Dresden and Stiles interacting would be all kinds of hilarious and awesome.
2) Having finally finished the ep, I can see Stiles has having some minor league mojo but I doubt he'd be at White Council Level. More like, with a bit of know how, he could manipulate the magical properties already existing in certain materials, but I don't think he could, for example, call forth flame or wind.

lol, so true though. He needs to take a vacation.

I hope to be proven wrong though.
