EW met up with comedian (and avid comic book fan) Patton Oswalt at The Spreckels Theatre in San Diego to hear how he’s enjoying Comic-Con and get a behind-the-scenes look at how he prepares for the big comedy show he does during the event every year.
We also asked what he thinks of the Daniel Tosh rape joke controversy. His level-headed response: “Obviously, I don’t agree with what he said, and I don’t agree with how he said it, but I think it’s very dangerous to create an atmosphere where people can’t f— up.”

Patton is obviously trying to recover from what he said... too late, and for it being so many days later, he obviously hasn't put much thought or energy into it
